Storm Adventures Tourism Co. · Ministry of Tourism Licence No. 73102018 · Last updated: 14 September 2026
Please read this document carefully before accepting it. This is a legally binding agreement that includes a waiver of certain rights to claim. By signing it, ticking the electronic acceptance box, completing a booking, or taking part in any activity, you confirm that you have read it in full, understood its contents, and accepted it freely and with full legal capacity.
1. Definitions
• “The Company”: Storm Adventures Tourism Co., including its owners, management, employees, guides, instructors, drivers, volunteers, subcontractors, suppliers and partners.
• “The Participant”: any person who takes part in, attends, or accompanies a participant in any activity, including minors signed for by their guardians.
• “The Activity”: any experience, event, trip or service provided by the Company, including without limitation: 4×4, buggy and quad-bike safaris; sandboarding; paragliding; horse and camel riding; archery and shooting; ninja and rope games; desert, heritage and photography trips; Edge of the World and Red Sands trips; and camp stays with related transport and catering.
2. Acknowledgement of the Nature of the Activity and Its Inherent Risks
The Participant acknowledges full awareness that the activities take place in open desert, mountain and wilderness environments and carry inherent risks that cannot be entirely eliminated regardless of the safety precautions taken, including without limitation:
• Changing weather conditions, extreme heat or cold, sandstorms and flash floods.
• Uneven terrain and the possibility of slipping, falling, tripping or vehicle rollover.
• Movement on vehicles, sand bikes, equipment and transport within and outside the sites.
• Handling animals (horses and camels) and their unpredictable reactions.
• Use of sporting firearms and bows within designated shooting ranges.
• Insects, reptiles, wildlife and allergenic plants.
• Remoteness of activity sites from medical facilities, limited network coverage, and consequent delay in emergency response.
• Acts or omissions of other participants or any third party beyond the Company’s control.
The Participant voluntarily and knowingly accepts these risks, including the possibility of minor or serious bodily injury, temporary or permanent disability, death, or loss of or damage to property.
3. Health and Fitness Declaration
• The Participant declares being in a physical, medical and mental condition that allows participation, with no medical contraindication.
• The Participant undertakes to disclose in advance and in writing any relevant medical condition, including: heart or vascular disease, high or low blood pressure, diabetes, asthma or respiratory illness, epilepsy or fainting episodes, back, neck or joint injuries, severe allergies, pregnancy, or any medication affecting concentration or balance.
• The Participant bears sole responsibility for any harm arising from concealing medical information or providing inaccurate data, and the Company may exclude such Participant immediately with no refund.
• The Company may set age, weight or fitness requirements for certain activities and may decline participation on safety grounds.
4. Compliance with Safety Instructions
• Full compliance with all instructions given by the Company’s guides and instructors before and during the activity.
• Wearing the prescribed safety equipment (helmet, seatbelt, life vest, body protection) throughout the activity and not removing it without permission.
• No participation under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or any substance or medication affecting awareness and judgement.
• No use of any vehicle or equipment without prior authorisation, and no departure from designated routes and areas.
• No weapons, hazardous or prohibited items may be brought to activity sites.
The Company reserves the full right to stop the participation of anyone who breaches safety instructions, endangers themselves or others, or behaves improperly — with no refund and no liability whatsoever on the Company.
5. Release and Waiver of Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Participant — on their own behalf and on behalf of their heirs and legal representatives — releases the Company and all those associated with it from any liability, claim, action or compensation arising from any injury, damage or loss to the Participant or their property caused by participation in, attendance at, or presence at the activity or transport to and from its sites.
This release does not extend to gross fault, fraud, wilful misconduct or proven gross negligence on the part of the Company, nor to any right that the law does not permit to be waived.
6. Personal Property
The Participant is solely responsible for personal belongings (phones, cameras, jewellery, cash, eyewear, private vehicles and their contents). The Company is not liable for their loss, damage or theft at any time before, during or after the activity.
7. Minors and Persons Under Guardianship
• Persons under 18 years of age may participate only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• The guardian signs this document both personally and on behalf of the minor, and such signature constitutes acceptance of all its terms on the minor’s behalf.
• The guardian undertakes to supervise the accompanying minor directly and is responsible for their conduct and any resulting damage.
8. Consent to First Aid and Emergency Treatment
Where consent cannot be obtained at the time of need, the Participant authorises the Company to administer first aid, call the Red Crescent, or transport the Participant to the nearest medical facility as it deems necessary. Costs of treatment, transport and medical evacuation are borne by the Participant or their insurer.
9. Insurance
The Company maintains the insurance policies required by law for its operations. This does not constitute comprehensive health or personal insurance for the Participant, and the Company recommends that every Participant obtain personal cover appropriate to adventure activities.
10. Photography and Content
The Participant consents to photography and filming during activities and to the use of such material across the Company’s marketing channels and social media, without financial consideration and without time limit. Anyone who objects may notify the Company in writing before the activity begins, and the Company will use due care to exclude them.
11. Compliance with Law and the Environment
The Participant undertakes to comply with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the instructions of the competent authorities and public decorum, and to protect natural and heritage sites, causing no damage and leaving no waste behind.
12. Indemnity
The Participant shall indemnify the Company for any damage to its equipment, vehicles or property, or to the property of others, caused by the Participant’s wilful act, negligence or breach of safety instructions, at actual repair or replacement value.
13. Booking, Cancellation and Refunds
Bookings, amendments, cancellations, refunds and no-shows are governed by the Company’s approved Cancellation, Amendment and No-Show Policy, issued as a separate document and published on the website. That policy forms an integral part of this document and is binding on both parties.
14. Force Majeure
The Company may postpone, reroute or cancel an activity for reasons of safety, weather, operations or instructions from the competent authorities. Where the Company cancels, the Participant may choose between rescheduling and a refund in accordance with the approved policy.
15. General Provisions
